I have been using this product since a month religiously (applying twice a day) and I am here to tell you all what this product can and cannot do. I have been getting cystic acne on my cheeks since a year- its hormonal so I know this product cannot fix my hormones or my genes or my diet or the stress that I usually take. But it did what it promised- the size of my acne has reduced a lot, the red inflammation has visible decreased and even if I get new ones, they get fixed in 2-3 days as opposed to 10-15 days without the product. I can see my 5-6 months old scars slowly healing but I think it will still take more time. I have also been using The Ordinary Salicylic acid face masque since past 2 weeks to help accelerate healing of the old scars. My skin is very soft now, no giant cystic acne filled with pus on my cheek anymore. A 30 mL bottle lasted me exactly a month and I have already purchased a new bottle. I cant wait to see what it does in the following months.

I never review products but I had to review this one! Honestly, if you’re like me and you’ve tried every cream, ‘holy grail’ cleaner and at-home remedy under the sun, TRY THIS! My pores were huge, my skin was patchy with red marks and scars, and I had huge and painful acne all over my cheeks and chin. I’ve been using the product twice a day for about a week and a half in combination with: - The Ordinary Vitamin C serum in the evening before bed - The Ordinary HA Moisturiser in the morning - BalanceMe Micellar Water and my skin looks totally different. It’s glowing and seems golden, much more even, a lot of my breakouts have cleared up or come to a head (like dark red lumps that have now become whiteheads and started going down). I still have quite a bit of acne and I imagine it will take a lot longer for this product to clear my skin, but I’m amazed at the results and confident that it will only keep getting better. The best part is that my pores are barely visible anymore - I finally don’t look like the moon! It does sting a little when you put it on sensitive areas but I haven’t found that it has inflamed or aggravated my skin. Give it a shot! Especially at such a reasonable price tag.

This stuff is a miracle worker
I have combination/oily skin, enlarged pores and postinflammatory hyperpigmentation. From the first use of this serum, my complexion in smoother, pores are less visible, any pimples I get heal a lot faster, and irregularities in texture are getting better over time. I use it in the morning over my hydrating mist/hyaluronic acid serum, and under my moisturizer with spf, the consistency is great, it's fast absorbing and works well with other products and under make up. At night, I use it a few times a week, when I'm not using AHA. I hope The ordinary never discontinues this!
