Discover effective cleansing without drying your skin with The Ordinary's Squalane Cleanser. This gentle formula works to break down, dissolve and remove makeup to leave your skin feeling fresh and clean.
The hydrating cleanser is enriched with squalane and lipophilic esters to moisturise the skin, while minimising feelings of tightness and dryness. Transforming from a nourishing balm to a clear oil-like consistency when in contact with water, the soap-free cleanser effectively lifts away impurities from the skin for soft and supple results.
Suitable for all skin types.
Non-comedogenic.
- Application: Dispense product into hands. Rub together to warm the product, allowing it to melt into an oil. Massage well onto dry face and rinse with warm water.
- Please Note: If irritation occurs, cease use and consult a physician. Use only as directed on unbroken skin. Patch testing prior to use is advised. Keep out of reach of children.

Fantastic Cleanser
I bought this as a more cost effective alternative to my usual expensive cleanser having read great reviews. I will not be turning back…. It is really really good!! I have used it for 2 weeks now and my skin feels clean & nourished. As it goes on like an oil (it’s oil free btw) I expected my skin to feel a bit greasy afterward but I clean off with a microfibre face cloth with no oil slick in sight. Highly recommend!!

Gentle and effective
I prefer an oil based cleanser to keep my skin from drying out when cleansing but these can sometimes feel heavy and need intense removal to feel truly effective. This cleanser is a great weight, is easy to rinse off and leaves my skin feeling clear and smooth. Note for use: The packaging is clear that you should warm the product to make it an oil, but doesn’t say for how long. for me it can take up to a minute, the first few times I didn’t do it for long enough and “thought” I’d noticed a difference in consistency… if this is you, keep warming… You will definitely feel the difference when this turns to oil!
