This gentle cleanser works to effectively remove makeup without drying out the skin. The Squalane Cleanser from The Ordinary is gentle enough for daily use unlike other makeup removers, as this effective emollient hydrates the skin and helps to protect the natural moisture barrier to prevent drying and tightness. Rub the cleanser in your palms to warm it until it melts into an oil. Massage into dry skin, then rinse with warm water.

Really nice formula makes my skin feel fresh, bottle wasn’t super full when I received it so ran out very quickly (even though not much is needed in one use). I have very sensitive and dry skin but this works a treat.

I like a cleanser that foams but this one does not and therefore you feel like you have not put enough. I was worried it would make my face greasy since I have an oily skin and squalane is an oil. It is gentle on the skin and cleans but just feels a bit funny.

Feeling nice
This cleanser is very comfortable to use, doesn't drip away and has no smell at all (which is very good for me). It also feels very nice on my face skin, makes it soft and moisturized. It does not remove makeup as good as my DIY cleansing oil, but if you don't usually wear any heavy makeup, it should be fine.
