Tom Ford Oud Wood is a totally mesmerising smell, it has so many complex layers to it, giving it such character & prestige. Over time the smell matures over time on your skin, and very quickly you’ll fall in love with it. The look itself has a very luxury feel to it too. For me, it’s a special occasion smell, I believe it’s TOO nice & complex for everyday wear but fantastic for making a statement. I’ll finish by saying it’s a bit of a Lady Killer. Expensive but worth its price tag. Fantastic service from LookFantastic as always, second to none.

Tom ford oud wood is calm and sensual. The top note of whisky is not as spicy as one would expect, but rather a charmingly subdued scent, the middle note of cinnamon takes away the coldness and adds warmth, the bottom note of patchouli cedar vanilla with a hint of sweetness, a bit like a plum overall, like the winter sun dripping around, cool but warm. It is a calmness that is willing to be approached, especially for winter. Overall it is a very manly fragrance, the smell is very advanced, like some kind of Chinese tonics, sprayed on the body as if it were hidden, especially suitable for gentlemen with experience and age. It can be uncomfortable at first, but after a few attempts, you simply fall in love with the scent.

my favorite oud wood
The TF fragrance goes on with a heavy but majestic black fragrance of black wood incense. The incense is naturally brooding, with a smoky, frosted texture. Although both woody, incense is very different from cedar, sandalwood and guaiac woods. When it comes to cedar and sandalwood, these woody fragrances can conjure up images of coolness and immortality, but when it comes to incense, the words that come to mind are coarse, heavy, and powerful. If other woody fragrances are white and flowing, then incense must be a low-key emperor who has crossed the world, indulging in the boundaries of restraint, jumping between dominance and coolness. The spicy scent of pepper, like a stubble-ridden yuppie or a woman in a suit with a cigarette in her mouth, TF's fragrance is so wonderful, it always breaks through the limits of gender. The fragrances of TF are so wonderful, they always break the limits of gender and bring endless imagination. But whether male or female, incense gives the wearer a picture of "abstinence", "wisdom", "cool and restrained", just like the black of its bottle and the black of the precious ebony. In fact, in addition to the incense, the perfume also contains two woody spices, rosewood and sandalwood, which add balance to the fragrance and to some extent embellish the single fragrance of incense, making it softer and richer. There is a small sparkle at the end, where the not-so-presence of vanilla root adds a touch of 'sweetness' to the gloomy fragrance, giving it a sense of sweetness and bitterness.
