Create the illusion of flawless, poreless skin with the UOMA Beauty Say What?! Foundation. The brand, founded by makeup guru and Nigerian-born Sharon Chuter, strives to offer a wide variety of makeup to suit all skin tones, allowing everybody to feel confident and empowered. The uniquely-crafted foundation glides effortlessly across the skin, the lightweight texture allowing it to avoid sinking into fine lines or looking cakey.
An ingenious identifier, known as the Fitzpatrick scale, is utilised in order to determine how different skin types react to the sun, which made it possible for UOMA to recognise six different skin categories. Thanks to this, the foundation range is highly inclusive and wearable, catering to the individual needs of different complexions to allow everybody to find their ‘Skin Kins’.
For example, ‘White Pearl’, crafted for extremely pale skin, is infused with Microalgae to neutralise the look of redness and inflammation. ‘Black Pearl’, for very deep skin tones, is boosted with an enrichment of Tomato Extract, allowing it to assist with the look of dullness and to promote luminosity. Complete with a buildable formula that allows minimal to full coverage, the foundation dries to a photo-ready matte finish, offering the appearance of baby-smooth, radiant skin.
Biomimicry Pigments allow the formula to attempt to replicate your complexion, encouraging a natural-looking, blurred aesthetic. The cruelty free status of the foundation allows you to be safe in the knowledge that you are being kind to the planet, while promoting a show-stopping, rejuvenated-looking base.
Cruelty free.
After moisturising and applying primer, smooth gently over skin, blending until even coverage is achieved.

Magic
Love this. Very natural looking and easy to wear. I have dry skin and it works brilliantly with it. Love that the coverage is buildable without being Cakey. You will need a setting spray with this. Uoma is magic. Love their stuff. This is no different. The colour range is amazing- sure to find your perfect match

Completely unusable
The good: I was really impressed with the colour range and quiz on Uoma’s website, which chose the perfect match for me. I usually struggle with this because of the yellow tones in my pale skin. The foundation also blends well and can be built up for better coverage. The (very) bad: it wears off my normal to combination skin at the slightest touch! I’ve tried setting and even baking my entire face, I’ve used setting spray, I’ve tried different primers - nothing improves it. This morning I accidentally rested my eyelash curler on my cheek as I was using it and the foundation literally melted away underneath it. I looked in a mirror the other day and a whole band over my nose and cheeks had worn off. It looked really bad - extremely disappointing.

My favorite foundation by far!
Really natural looking, found my perfect shade on the first try! Looks very lovely and natural, however is does smudge a little sadly. But it is absolutely incredible! Will definitely repurchase when finished.

Love it!
I am in LOVE with this foundation! I’d never heard of UOMA beauty before buying this but I am SO glad I took the risk! 100% worth the price tag and hands down beats other expensive brands such as HUDA and Estée Lauder. I still love my Estée Lauder double wear but this UOMA foundation is so light weight you forget you’re wearing it. I love that it’s buildable coverage and doesn’t need a powder on top of it. Fantastic shade range and they cater for everyone. Well done UOMA

Holy Grail Foundation
I recently tried this foundation and was totally blown away. It has amazing blemish coverage but also looks really natural and skin-like on the face. It is very lightweight and liquidy too so even with the coverage it has it's comfortable to wear all day. I use it in combination with the Stay Woke concealer from the brand and genuinely think I've found my holy grail combo - recommend it to anyone!!
