Lip Treatment; seems to work!
Only serum I could find with Retinol, an ingredient with proven long-term benefit; most lip treatments are just temporary plumpers, many with ingredients to deliberately irritate delicate skin; I wanted something with genuine & permanent-ish benefits to combat natural ageing. It's a thick sticky gloop with a strong petroleum-jelly smell, but I persevered. The applicator is good; a squeezable tube with flattened end to spread the product, quite therapeutic while you're watching 'Judge Judy' re-runs after a hectic day. After 2 months use every night (I probably apply more than necessary, but there's still some left)- my lips feel moisturised, soft - they wern't terrible before, I've always used Burts Bees balm - but they do feel extra healthy now? I've also noticed occasional skin slough, 'proof' the retinol IS working, so giving it 5* for being an authentic lip-serum weapon against ageing! Pricey but does last a few months, then you can use scissors to get the last bit & hopefully by then it'll be on offer again. I think it's best for those legitimately worried about ageing lips, or damage from injury / harmful sunlight.

I have had a rough piece of skin on my lip for years. I’ve tried balms, la met lip scrub everything. Tried this for like a week and it’s gone and never returned. I didn’t want to love it because of its price but now I can’t be without it and I hate it. Feels like it’s doing nothing. But i can’t deny it. Sigh. It’s good.
