Keeping things tidy
I have sensitive skin; shaving with a razor, waxing or epilation is a painful process that leaves my skin raw and looking like a freshly-plucked chicken. The clipper attachment does not give you a perfectly smooth result, there's a millimetre-ish left behind when used without the length-comb attachment on legs and underarms. (Please see above reasons for me not actually wanting a perfectly smooth result. A tiny bit of hair left behind doesn't matter as I don't break out in a rash). The comb length attachment is perfect for (please pardon the expression) "topiary" of the "lady garden" without leaving it bare. It lets me keep everything neat and tidy, and I don't feel self-conscious when wiggling out of my swimsuit in the gym changing room. The facial attachment is very gentle and perfect for a bit of peach fuzz, and for taming that spot where my eyebrows join together in the middle. However, you're going to want a smaller tool if you're shaping your brows, this is far too big to be precise (unless you're whipping them off entirely). The device is a pretty shade of rose gold and feels sturdy in the hand. It comes with a little bottle of clipper oil and a makup bag style case to keep it all together. The three heads remove for cleaning with a twist, and they have a notch on the back to align them properly. The charging cable doesn't quite plug in all the way into the trimmer (this is where it loses a star in my rating, as I spent a while worrying I had a dodgey charger and watching it for any issues). After a first charge of approximately four hours, the trimmer worked well for about 45 minutes - spread over several grooming sessions, not all at once. I am happy with the shaving result across legs, underarm, bikini and face. However, a little more attention to detail on the charging cable connection would have been appreciated. 4/5.
