To Straighten:

• Comb through dry hair and divide into sections.
• Ensure the side latch is set to ‘open’ and turn on the appliance by pressing and holding the main button until the lights start flashing.
• Wait for the lights to turn solid to ensure styler is at the optimum temperature of 185° for styling.
• Take a section of hair and place between the plates, close to the roots.
• Hold the hair firmly between the plates and slide down the length of the hair, from root to tip.
• Repeat as necessary.
• Allow the hair to cool before combing through.
• After use, switch off the styler.
• Allow to cool before storing the appliance away in the heat proof bag.

To Make a Wave:

• Comb through dry hair and divide into sections.
• Ensure the side latch is set to ‘closed’ and turn on the appliance by pressing and holding the main button until the lights start flashing.
• Wait for the lights to turn solid to ensure styler is at the optimum temperature of 185° for styling.
• Separate a section of hair. The smaller the section the more defined the wave. The larger the section the looser the wave.
• Take the section of hair and, beginning roughly 3 inches from the root, wrap it around the heated wand, and hold it there by the tip for 10 seconds.
• Repeat as necessary.
• Allow the hair to cool before combing through.
• After use, switch off the styler.
• Allow to cool before storing the appliance away in the heat proof bag.

To Create Curls:

• Comb through dry hair and divide into sections.
• Ensure the side latch is set to ‘closed’ and turn on the appliance by pressing and holding the main button until the lights start flashing.
• Wait for the lights to turn solid to ensure styler is at the optimum temperature of 185° for styling.
• Separate a section of hair. The smaller the section the more defined the curl. The larger the section the looser the curl.
• Press the tong button to open the clamp and place the tip of the hair section between the curling plate and the tong. 
• Roll the appliance upward to wrap the entire hair section around the barrel, from tip to root, and hold it there for 10 seconds.
• Release the appliance from the hair and repeat as necessary.
• Allow the hair to cool before combing through.
• After use, switch off the styler.
• Allow to cool before storing the appliance away in the heat proof bag.
