Weleda Skin Food is delicately fragranced with refreshing essential oils including sweet orange and lavandula and can be used as a protective cream in harsh weather and is excellent for anyone regularly outdoors.
Directions of use:
- A little goes a long way, so apply sparingly.
- This very rich cream is best applied to the face by gently patting on, so as to avoid dragging the skin.
- Elsewhere on the body, gently smooth into the skin until the cream is absorbed.
- To deeply nourish hard working, dry hands apply liberally, cover with gloves and leave overnight.

Good as a moistorisor or primer
I can definately see why people on tiktok were using this as primer. It has a thick consistency and is a hit sticky but leaves the skin so glowy its unreal. The only bad part is because it is thick, it's a little bit hard to spread on your face. I have combination skin, and my skin was so dry but this helped bring back some moisture. The smell that people have talked about on here is not too bad but it does smell a bit weird.

Only use on extremely dry skin
This is certainly not an everyday product. Only use on extremely dry or damaged skin. It’s incredibly greasy but repairs your skin barrier within a couple of nights. I use when my retinol has irritated my skin and I get a dry patch

Very thick texture
I ordered this product for my face. I have naturally dry skin. Initially it was very hydrating on my skin to use, but it really irritated my eyes. This might be due to the fact that it’s very fragranced. I persevered and kept it away from eye area, as I wanted to tackle the dryness. I had to stop using after a few times - too thick in texture and felt like it was clogging my pores. Using the remainder as a handcream - which it greats for. Although, a little more in cost then I would spend on a handcream, but at least it’s not being wasted. Not great for people with sensitive eyes.
