Weleda Skin Food treats dry skin to some much-needed TLC. The award-winning cream features a thick, rich texture that provides long-lasting moisture while acting as a protective barrier on the skin to defend against dryness and environmental stressors.
Suitable for use on the face and body, especially areas prone to dryness like the feet, hands and elbows, the formula is enriched with a soothing blend of wild pansy extract, calendula, rosemary, sunflower seed oil and chamomile. The moisturiser intensely hydrates and conditions the skin, leaving it nourished and radiant. Suitable all year round but ideal for cold, winter months, the cream is scented with a refreshing infusion of sweet orange and lavandula.
A little goes a long way, so apply sparingly. This very rich cream is best applied to the face by gently patting on, so as to avoid dragging the skin. Elsewhere on the body, gently smooth into the skin until the cream is absorbed. To deeply nourish hard-working, dry hands apply liberally, cover with gloves and leave overnight.

Weleda skin food
I actually bought this by mistake and usually use the skin food light as a face moisturiser. This is more intense and definitely thicker. However is great for those really dry areas (especially round the nose). I have used this in my chapped hands, heals and even on eczema patches which are dry. It’s an amazing multi tasking product. I don’t like using this over my whole face like I do skin food light as I find it is VERY heavy in my liking, but for those areas that need it, it’s perfect!!
