Weleda Skin Food treats dry skin to some much-needed TLC. The award-winning cream features a thick, rich texture that provides long-lasting moisture while acting as a protective barrier on the skin to defend against dryness and environmental stressors.
Suitable for use on the face and body, especially areas prone to dryness like the feet, hands and elbows, the formula is enriched with a soothing blend of wild pansy extract, calendula, rosemary, sunflower seed oil and chamomile. The moisturiser intensely hydrates and conditions the skin, leaving it nourished and radiant. Suitable all year round but ideal for cold, winter months, the cream is scented with a refreshing infusion of sweet orange and lavandula.
A little goes a long way, so apply sparingly. This very rich cream is best applied to the face by gently patting on, so as to avoid dragging the skin. Elsewhere on the body, gently smooth into the skin until the cream is absorbed. To deeply nourish hard-working, dry hands apply liberally, cover with gloves and leave overnight.

I’m very much into natural skincare and this product didn’t disappoint. Yes it’s quite thick but I’m used to using Shea butter no the consistency didn’t bother me. I put it on before bed and put an oil on top and I wake up with really moisturised skin. Lasted me about 5 months and I use it every night, great for hands too.

Holy grail for skin care
Skin food is the best product I have ever used. It cleared up my eczema after years of medical treatment, and rid me entirely of dry skin - unlike dozens of other moisturiser. I like to use it as a night cream, as it is very heavy, and wake up hydrated and fresh faced every morning. It's also great is you like a glass skin look! Might not be so great for oilier skin types, but if you are dry, sensitive or combination, I cannot recommend it enough.

Great but SO thick - be warned!
I can only begin to describe how thick this cream is, it’s advertised as face & body but honestly it’s body only in my opinion. Trying to put it on your face takes a layer of your face with it, like semi-dried PVA glue or spreading playdoh with a spoon. Can also imagine it’ll break you out in spots in no time. Use it sparely at night if you dare. That said, this is still getting a 4* because it’s great on elbows and severe dry patches, but sweet Jesus don’t attempt to use this under any makeup or put tight fitting clothes on straight after! Good luck.
