Comfort and nourish dry skin with the Weleda Skin Food Light. A lightweight, silkier version of the iconic original, the quickly-absorbed moisturiser combines organic sunflower oil with natural extracts of calendula, pansy and chamomile to instantly hydrate, visibly calm and enhance radiance.
Acting as a protective barrier, it defends skin from dryness for smooth and supple results. The multi-purpose lotion can be used as a face or body moisturiser to leave the skin feeling soft and protected from everyday stressors.
Apply on dry areas on the face or body, and allow to absorb. Use before makeup application to create a glowy base.

Super moisturising
Love this “light” version of the cream. I tried the original because lots of people recommended it but found it WAY too thick. This is ideal and a perfect night cream. Smells really nice too - quite botanical but also quite strong so be aware if you’re sensitive to that.

Brilliant alternative to the original version
So many people had recommended the original skin food as a face moisturiser (even though I don’t think it’s meant for your face) and it was SO thick I just couldn’t get on with it. My skin is combination so perhaps that would work if you had VERY dry skin. I tried this LIGHT version and I really love it - it’s still very thick and moisturising but it doesn’t feel too much for your face. Also has a lovely herbal smell.
