Amazing for grey hair.

I decided to grow out my hair and let my grey come through. It was time. My hairdresser put a bunch of blonde highlights in it to ease the transition, and off I went. I started using this to keep everything cool-toned, and to help blend the highlights and the new roots so they were more closely matched. And oh boy, did it work. My hair was a really lovely purply-grey tone, which looked amazing. I had people stopping me in the street to say how amazing my hair looked. Friends asked me if I'd dyed it - when in fact I'd stopped dying it! It's not massively conditioning by itself, though (hence the 4 stars) so I mixed it 50-50 with a deep conditioning mask, and once a week I'd put the mixture on my hair, wrap it in a towel, and leave it for a good 20-30 minutes. If I was feeling particularly dull I'd use a purple shampoo as well. Manage your expectations - it's designed for light blonde and/or grey hair, nothing darker, and it's more colour than conditioner. But with that in mind, it worked great for me.

Very good but I wouldn’t leave it on longer than 10 minutes

Perfect!

A reasonably priced toner product that does exactly what it’s meant to. An absolute must have for coloured blonde hair- totally sorts out any yellow/ brassy tones!

Not much difference on brown hair

Bought to cool the tone of slightly lighten brown hair and I don't think it's meant for this, so my bad. Works well as conditioner but that's it. Would benefit lighter tones.

Fantastic.

Does what it says on the tin. It tones down brassy highlights and adds a lilac tint to grey hair. I used a generous amount, combed it through thoroughly, left it for 30 minutes instead of the recommended 10, and it worked great. I'll definitely be repurchasing this one. .

Great for blonde hair

I love using this for a refresh of my blonde. It doesn’t dry the hair and leaves a nice colour deposit, not too strong for bleached hair.

Use with caution

Do not keep for 20mins if you have light blonde hair- it will turn patchy purple. Unless that’s what you are going for, 10mins enough to refresh your tone and knock off brassiness.
