Not for me

I wanted to love this, my skin is hyper sensitive to the sun and I am finding myself intolerant to alot of facial spfs recently. With the reviews I had high hopes for Pai, i was sure it would be more comfortable, especially as it is only spf30. Unfortunately it felt slightly chalky and uncomfortable on my skin.

Good sunscreen

This is one of the best sunscreens. It's natural, it does not leave face white and it smells good. I used it on the beach and in the city, for both location it was perfect

Perfect mineral suncream

Been using this since it came out and it’s perfect for me. I was looking for a natural, vegan and mineral suncream that most importantly didn’t majorly irritate my eyes. I know if you get suncream in your eye it’s going to sting but there’s a different level with different suncreams. I’ve found if I apply this almost like an eye cream in a thickish but not too much layer leaving enough room from the lash lines so it can migrate without getting in the eye and then leave it too soak in for a bit before blending/tapping it all in that then it doesn’t cause irritation for me

The worst product I have ever used

I am lucky, whilst my skin is sensitive it has always been clear and even. Well until I started using this product! I actually quite liked it to apply, though agree with one of the other reviewers here who said it smelt funny. But I persisted and have used every day for 2 months or so. Well my skin has broken out in spots and developed a bumpy texture for the 1st time in my life. My skin literally looks clogged. As I haven't changed any other products I thought I'd check out the ingredients in this and Paula's choice says 2 of the main ones are coconut oil and can cause spots. So that's it then! I came to leave this review and then saw that other people have had the exact same thing happen. Honestly fuming.

Pai British summertime

Second time I have purchased this product and I think it is great for under make-up. Wasn’t 100% on the smell with the first tube but I liked the product so put up with it. Now I don’t notice it at all

Definitely not for sensitive skin

On the hunt for a vegan sunscreen, I was persuaded into buying this product by its promises of being non-greasy and suitable for sensitive skin. When I first used it, I wasn't terribly impressed; it had a strong citrus scent, and on application, a noticeable white cast complete with a greasy sheen. As much as I didn't like the appearance, it was tolerable with SPF powder on top, so I persevered. However, my combination, redness prone skin that was usually pretty resilient soon became irritated by the product, which I suspect had something to do with the Mandarin and other fragrance ingredients included in the formula, which I now know to be common irritants. Don't fall for the marketing; this is not suitable for sensitive skin. I really wouldn't recommend this product to anyone after it sensitised my skin, especially when there are a lot of good mineral sunscreens available that don't contain fragrance.

Not good for sensitive skin

I really wanted to like this sunscreen as it’s all natural but it just doesn’t work for me. It feels heavy on the skin, has a really strong fragrance and caused irritation. It simultaneously managed to dry out my skin and make it look really oily at the same time. My skin became so dry and sore and I also broke out in tiny whiteheads. Maybe it just contains an ingredient I’m sensitive to as it works for other people but it’s not for me. My skin type is oily and doesn’t usually get dry.

My new everyday essential!

I've never used spf daily and decided it was something I needed to do and luckily I found this product! A little goes a long way, it absorbs quickly, doesn't feel sticky or thick or leave that white sun cream look. I love that it's gentle and natural and i like the smell. I dont wear make up so cant comment on how it sits underneath. Its now become the last step of my daily skincare routine and I won't go without it

Nice product

Bought this for a friend who is pregnant, was looking for a physical sunscreen and ended up finding this one. It does leave a faint white cast as to be expected so it’s better for under makeup however it’s very gentle, it hasn’t irritated her rosacea or broken her out which is a plus.
