The bottle was opened when I opened the box. First time using it made my hair feel matted and clumped together but second time using it was better. Don’t think I’d recommend it though.

I love conditioner but shampoo is just awful, like your hair goes firm once you put it on. I honestly thought there was a problem with the batch but after reading reviews I know it’s a common complaint. I was worried I had damaged my hair Goes stiff and matts as soon as you put it on. loved the conditioner, hate the shampoo
The fullfyl conditioner is the only conditioner that works on my hair so I bought the shampoo too, thinking this would also be great for my hair. But oh boy, no. From the second this touched my hair, I knew it was a mistake. My hair almost instantly turned into a hard mat wherever the shampoo had touched. i had to shampoo twice to wash it out again. Thinking that maybe it had just reacted with whatever I used last, I gave it another try, some weeks later. Same result. Instant conversion of hair into coconut matting. Conditioner is great though (apart from the smell, can't abide the smell).

Terrible shampoo
This shampoo made my hair hard to wash and even get my fingers through. It dries your hair. It is the worst shampoo I have never used. I used other Pureology shampoo (and conditioners) I suggest to discontinue this one.

Love the Pureology brand, and have used their colour treatment shampoos and conditioners many times before. Sadly the 'density' and 'texture' of this specific shampoo leaves my hair in a big sticky matted clump, which then is difficult to brush out. I have fine hair, but lots of it, and this shampoo just makes my hair unworkable with.
