Silky, smooth hairl

I was kindly gifted the Redken Acidic Colour Gloss 4 Step routine set in exchange for my honest review from Marie Clair Beauty Drawer. Glass like hair is something I would love to achieve so, when I was given the opportunity to try the NEW Redken range I was so excited. The range includes a four step routine so pretty straight forward. Step 1; you have the colour gloss sulphate shampoo. This cleanses & protects coloured hair for max vibrancy. I apply a smallish 2p sized blob and massage the shampoo in. Personally when I apply the shampoo, I do my usual 2 shampoo wash, it doesn't state to do this but it's something I always do to get that cleanser feel. On the second wash it lathers up nicely leaving my hair feeling well cleansed, I then rinse out. Step 2; Colour Gloss Treatment Serum, This seals in the cuticle to lock in glossy shine. The treatment should only be used once a week. Warning it's super runny! Apply to towel dried hair & leave on for around 5-10 mins 🚿DO NOT RINSE 🚿 Step 3; Colour Gloss Conditioner, this has a moister boosting formula for added nourishment. Apply the conditioner on top of the Colour Gloss Treatment. I like to run my fingers through my hair to untangle any knots etc. After 5 mins then rinse off Step 4; Colour Gloss Leave In Treatment Spray. The spray has an invisible shield technology that's seals in shine & it's also a heat protector. Apply to towel dried hair mostly concentrating on the ends & you're done! You do not rinse this out. No I then blow dried my hair & straightened it. 💭 So what did I think? 💭 I did notice a huge improvement in my frizz, usually my hair is super frizzy after using my hair looked so much healthier with a beautiful reflective shine. My hair felt lighter and well cleansed & not at all weighed down by the products something I was slightly concerned about at first. Another thing I noticed but not sure if it's meant to do this, is that it took the brassy tones out of my hair. I have noticed my for days after still had a lovely shine to it not quite glass like but defiantly a smooth silky shine. What I didn't like was when I applied the Colour Gloss Treatment serum I didn't like the feel of it in my hair! I don't quite no how to explain it but it felt as though my hair was drying out like when you have colour applied in the salon and they are taking the foils out your hair feels like it may snap & dried out kinda. I think this is maybe why it's only a weekly treatment. But my hair once all the steps were completed looked amazing & the results lasted around a week! Even with an in between wash. I would recommend as I love the results!!!
