I have highlighted hair and also use quite a lot of products (gel and hairspray) and this shampoo removed all trace of this build up which other shampoos didn’t do. Lots of lather. Combined this with the conditioner - love it

Really good shampoo for hair lacking in protein, however, I would recommend only 1 round of this then switch back to a moisturising shampoo. Too much protein will end up making the hair brittle so make sure you really know what your hair needs before using and this is a fantastic strength on the right hair.
