4I've been using the Sol de Janeiro Rio Radiance Body Lotion SPF 50 for a little while now, and here's my detailed review. Scent: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The standout feature of this body lotion is undoubtedly its scent. It’s absolutely divine – a tropical, beachy aroma that instantly transports you to a sunny paradise. The fragrance is rich and long-lasting, making it feel more like a luxurious treat than a typical sunscreen. It’s perfect for anyone who loves a lotion that leaves them smelling fantastic all day long. Texture and Application: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ The lotion itself is quite thick, which has its pros and cons. On the plus side, it feels rich and moisturizing, providing a deep hydration that’s especially nice for dry skin. However, this thickness does mean that it can leave a bit of a residue on the skin. It doesn’t absorb as quickly as some might prefer, and you might feel a bit of tackiness for a while after application. This is something to keep in mind if you prefer a lighter, more easily absorbed lotion. Sun Protection: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ As for the SPF 50 protection, I can’t fully comment on its effectiveness yet as we haven’t had much sunshine to put it to the test. However, SPF 50 is a high level of protection, and it’s reassuring to know it’s there. I’ll update my thoughts once I’ve had a chance to see how well it performs on a sunny day. Overall: The Sol de Janeiro Rio Radiance Body Lotion SPF 50 is a wonderful product if you prioritize a beautiful scent and deep hydration. Its thick texture might not be for everyone, especially if you dislike lotions that leave a residue. While I can’t yet vouch for its sun protection capabilities, the SPF 50 rating gives me confidence that it will be effective.

4Sol de Jane to never fails to impress me. Doesn’t feel like the usual sticky factor 50 and just sinks into your skin. Beautiful scent and the added bonus of a skin glow to add confidence-love it! A bit pricey but a nice treat

Not dark skin friendly
2Left a white cast on my arms and hands - had to use another moisturiser over the top to reduce the 'ashy' residue. Disappointed.
