Recommended for experienced users of retinoids, the Ordinary’s Retinal 0.2% Emulsion is a potent serum that works over time to target visible signs of ageing.
Suitable for all skin types, the yellow-tinted formula works to diminish the appearance of fine lines, dark spots and uneven tone, while visibly enhancing the skin’s radiance and smoothness. The treatment utilises oat, an ingredient renowned for its soothing properties, to help minimise feelings of sensitivity and dryness post-application. The multi-purpose serum also helps to improve visible elasticity and soften the look of crow’s feet.

- When to Use: Start with a weekly application and gradually increase usage to twice a week, a few days apart, as tolerated by your skin.
- Recommended Amount: A pea-sized amount.
- Application: Apply to a clean, dry face and neck.
- Routine: Apply a moisturiser afterwards. Use sun protection during the day.
- ✖ Do Not Use With: Other retinoids, vitamin C, AHAs or BHAs.
- Please Note: If irritation occurs, rinse off, cease use, and consult a physician. Use only as directed on unbroken skin. Patch testing prior to use is advised. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid the eye contour and contact with eyes.
- Please Note: The bright yellow hue of the formula comes from the high concentration of retinal. This may leave some residual colour on skin and light coloured fabrics, which can be minimised by allowing the product to fully absorb, and skin to dry before making contact with light-coloured fabrics. This residual colour can be removed by washing skin with water, and washing fabrics with your regular detergent according to their care instructions.

Retinal
Use this product once a week and will go up to twice once my old tube is finished. It replaces my retinol product on that day. Nice low strength that doesn't irritate the skin

Incredible as always
I’ve not met a The Ordinary product I don’t love a this was no different! I’ve tried stronger retinoids before and had some issues (not terrible luckily I didn’t go too high I just didn’t research beforehand) so using a lower one is absolutely fine essential for my skin right now and this is incredible! Does stain white / light bedding though 😂 comes off in the wash for the most part !

A Great Introduction To Retinal
I wanted a low percentage retinal after hearing some horror stories and I’m really glad I went with this. It feels great on the skin and hasn’t caused any irritation or discomfort. I only use a small amount once a week, as the bottle suggests but I’ve noticed a difference.

Amazing retinal for the price!
I’ve struggled to find an affordable retinal which is strong enough to match the more expensive retinal products on the market & this one does just that. Highly recommend if you’re looking for retinal on a budget!

My new fav
This is definitely my new favourite vitamin A product, it’s got an amazing texture and plays well with Other skincare I use. I haven’t noticed visible changes to my skin but I also have not use this for long enough, what I will say is that there? Is sometimes transfer onto white pillowcases so just be careful for that. Otherwise, it’s a hit
