Trending as 'the pink serum', The Ordinary's Soothing and Barrier Support Serum is a multi-active solution developed for sensitive skin and those prone to redness.
Providing an immediate 86%* boost in skin hydration, the serum is enriched with sugar-based humectants to lock in moisture and nourish the skin barrier. Vitamin B12 gives the serum its signature pink hue while maintaining the skin’s natural moisture levels. Bisabolol and gallic acid derivatives combine to visibly soothe the skin and reduce the appearance of redness.
The serum should be implemented into your prep, treat and seal regimen as step treat. It is recommended to apply after other similar water-based serums but before oils and creams.

- When to Use: Twice a day. After cleansing, before moisturiser.

soft skin
this product really brings life back to the skin and leaves it feeling soft after, when worked in you cannot even tell the product is pink.

Brilliant for sensitive skin
I had a really bad reaction to a retinol product (from a different brand) even though it was marketed for sensitive skin. This serum has calmed my skin right down and the reaction is basically gone - in about 24 hours. It's really soothing, cooling, hydrating and non-greasy. It has no smell and the bright pink colour is quite fun!

Saved my skin
Had a reaction to an ingredient change in anither product but this saved and repaired mt skin. Helped soothe and rehydrate but also improve the smoothness and pigmentation, on my 4th bottle love it

Good barrier serum
Love that I use this before creams and my make up doesn’t pil- would definitely buy again! Not sure if I’ve seen any real difference but skin feels good

Amazing
I recently had a session of microneedling and have been using this serum ever since for about 3 weeks and my skin has never felt better! My pores appear smaller, my redness has reduced and the overall appearance and texture of my skin feels the best it ever has. I don’t usually write reviews but I felt this product needed one!

Really made a difference
I was using a strong retinal and had a reaction which made my skin so red and sore. This helped within 2 days, my skin felt so much better. It is really lovely on the skin. Just doesn’t last long as it’s a small bottle
