Avoid this shaver
I committed my Wahl 'lifetime' shaver to the dustbin after less than two years of use. It gave a good shave at first, but its blades needed replacing after 12 months. Competitors last around 18 months, A problem developed with the on/off/lock switch which made it very unreliable. Take this one on a cruise and you could come back with a beard! For a basic face shaver, it is a fairly expensive buy. I expected quality, which I did not get. Wahl is not that prevalent on the High Street so you are fairly locked as regards replacement parts. All in all it does not stack up as a purchase, I regret my dalliance with Wahl and am now back with mainstream Braun.
